New Clients

Welcome to Balanced Pet NW, where we bring the best of holistic and modern medicine together to care for your furry babies. With a foundation in nutrition and a partnership between our family and yours, we find the most effective low-toxicity approach to achieve optimal well-being.

New Patient Exam

Starting price: $320 (exam only) plus any diagnostics or vaccines as agreed upon between you and the veterinarian, based on lifestyle needs.

Dr. Watson is trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which views the body as a balanced whole to find the root of health problems. We offer conventional therapies such as medications and surgery where appropriate, as well as different holistic services including acupuncture, hands-on soft tissue techniques, herbal medicine, laser therapy, diet, and supplements. We believe in using the best tool for the job, combining alternative methods with modern medicine. You can find more information about what we do on our services page.

Your first visit will include:
  • A review of previous medical records
  • A one-hour thorough TCM and conventional exam, with time to discuss diet & supplements, vaccine protocols, dental health, parasite prevention, and any specific health issues or goals
  • Annual bloodwork, fecal parasite screening, and a Heartworm test
  • Titer testing for immunity, or vaccine boosters if requested

We are looking forward to our partnership with you for your pet’s best health.

We will send you:

  • A confirmation message when we have added your appointment
  • Paperwork to fill out at least 24 hours before your appointment

We request:

  • The names of clinics from whom you would like us to request records
  • A deposit of $320 to hold your spot for your pet’s initial visit
